We offer a range of Electrical Safety Inspection options depending on the level of testing and reporting required for your property.

Electrical safety inspections are commonly requested for:

  • Buying or selling a property

    • Insurance requirements for home-based businesses or working from home

    • General peace of mind and confirmation that your property is electrically safe

    • Identifying potential electrical hazards or non-compliant installations

    • Routine maintenance and preventive checks

    • Please note that the person selecting the option is taking responsibility for the option they have chosen.

Option 1

  • General safety inspection

    • Test Safety switches

    • Checking the switchboard and associated equipment

    • Visual safety check around property

    • Make recommendations for upgrades needed to bring existing switchboard / circuit protection up to current standards

    • Provide quotes for any works recommended

    • $ 250 + GST

Option 2

  • Standard Safety inspection

    • Option 1 inclusions plus;

    • Visual inspection through roof space, checking cables where accessible

    • Visual inspection under the house where accessible

    • Functional test of all lighting

    • Visual Inspection of all powerpoints/light switches

    • Functional test of built-in appliances, A/C units, kitchen etc

    • Provide quotes for any works recommended

    • $ 350 + GST

Option 3

  • Comprehensive Safety Inspection / Testing

    • Complete test out of all circuits for insulation resistance

    • Polarity test of all powerpoints

    • Test the water bond earth continuity

    • Test Main Earth Bond / Independent earth test

    • Earth Continuity test to all powerpoints

    • Provide quotes for any works recommended

    • Solar system inspection, including visual inspection of the panels, testing voltage at the inverter , and operation

    • $ 475 + GST
