Surge Diverter Installation

Protect your appliances and electronics from damaging power surges with a professionally installed surge diverter (also known as a Surge Protection Device or SPD).

Power surges caused by storms, lightning strikes, or fluctuations from the electricity supplier can occur without warning. A surge diverter helps safely redirect these dangerous voltage spikes to earth, significantly reducing the risk of damage to your TVs, computers, fridges, air conditioners, and other sensitive equipment.

While a surge diverter is not a 100% guarantee against all surges, it is one of the most effective and affordable ways to provide extra protection for your valuable appliances.

Important Requirements

  • Your existing switchboard must have adequate space to accommodate the surge diverter.

  • It needs to be a modern DIN rail-compatible switchboard.

  • Please send a photo of your switchboard through via email if this is something that is being considered

Option 1

  • Single Phase Surge Diverter

  • User replaceable cartridge available to be supplied or installed at a later date after a Surge incident

    • $ 65 + GST

  • A Surge diverter is installed on the Active and Neutral incoming mains

  • Clipsal Surge Diverter MAX9 series 40Ka

  • There will need to be 2 spare poles in the switchboard available for this to be installed

$ 475 + GST supplied and installed
